Nothing says shame like losing your first three games of the season by a combined score of 96-6, especially when one of the losses is to non-Div. IA Western Illinois. However, the Huskies did manage to squeeze out a 31-30 victory at Arkansas State. It was their only win of the season.

Arkansas State: 9/21/96-11/9/96

Arkansas State went 3-3 during this stead in Shame Mask III. They beat non-Div. IA Central Arkansas and Southeast Missouri State before knocking off Louisiana Tech for their only win over a Div. IA team of the season.

Louisiana Tech: 11/9/96-end of the season
