OSM: 1995

1995 was the last year before the NCAA began playing overtime so that there would be no more ties after this season. So naturally, there would be a tie involving the team wearing the Shame Mask. But I find it interesting to see how long it will take for all the Shame Masks to converge.

Ohio: 11/19/94-10/21/95

Ohio started the season with a loss to Iowa State and then a win over non-Div. IA Illinois State before Kent State paid them a visit. They tied 28-28. After that, they lost their next three games before heading to Akron. Ohio won 29-23.

Akron: 10/21/95-10/28/95

Really they only bright spot in the Akron season was that the week after they got the Original Shame Mask, Kent State game to town wearing a Shame Mask of their own. Akron won 14-6.

Kent State: 9/16/95-end of the season

After their tie in their third game of the season, Kent State lost their remaining 8 games of the season to finish 1-9-1.
