GGSM: 1995

Tulane: 11/5/94-9/9/95

Tulane began the 1995 season with a home loss to Maryland, but then they were fortunate enough to have Wake Forest come to New Orleans. The Demon Deacons lost 35-9 before crawling back to Winston-Salem wearing the Golden Gopher Shame Mask. Tulane won the following week over Rice, but then finished the season with eight straight losses.

Wake Forest: 9/9/95-9/23/95

It was a rough year for Wake Forest in 1995. First they started with a home loss to Div. IAA Appalachian State, then the next week they got the Shame Mask. The week after that, they lost to Clemson; however then they played at Navy and won 30-7. It was their only win of the season.

Navy: 9/23/95-9/30/95

Navy's time in the Shame Mask did not last long for they got to go to Durham to take on Duke the following week, returning the mask to the state of North Carolina with a 30-9 win.

Duke: 9/30/95-10/28/95

Duke started 1995 by thoroughly losing to Florida State 70-26; however, they bounced back impressively, beating Rutgers and Army before backsliding with a loss to Maryland and then the loss to Navy to get the Shame Mask. The losing ways continued with losses to Georgia Tech, Virginia, and North Carolina State, but then Blue Devils got the perfect tonic--Wake Forest came to town. Duke won 42-26.

Wake Forest: 10/28/95-end of the season

Since getting rid of the Shame Mask, the Demon Deacons had lost their next five games before the Duke loss made it six. They ended the season with losses to Georgia Tech and North Carolina State to finish the season 1-10.
