Dec. 2--For the fourth time in 2006, the first score in a Florida International game had the road team scoring a touchdown but missing the extra point. This time it was Troy on a 48-yard punt return in the second quarter. FIU soon rallied to take a 7-0 lead, but Troy scored again in the final minute of the first half and never looked back.

Thus Florida International finished their "perfect" season 0-12.
