Lousiana-Monroe jumped out to a 7-0 lead with a 5 play, 80 yard TD drive on the first possession of the game. In retrospect, this may have been a mistake. The Razorbacks rebounded however with 330 yards rushing. Darren McFadden ran for 129, and 1 TD, plus he threw for a TD, and Felix Jones went for 141 yards and TD.

In a losing effort, Calvin Dawson did rush for a career high 128 yards, but Warhawks were undone by Kinsmon Lancaster's 5 interceptions. Four of their six second half possessions ended in an interception.
