Nevada 48, GGSM{New Mexico State} 21

Again, the Aggies of New Mexico State tried to rely only on their pass, and again it was not good enough. They ran the ball 23 times but netted only 17 yards. Nevada on the other hand, got 236 yards on their 41 rushes. New Mexico State had a 7-0 lead at the end of the first quarter, but Nevada scored 28 in an impressive second quarter and never looked back. The Aggies defense recovered a fumble and got 3 interceptions, one of which they returned for a TD. However, New Mexico State still lost the turnover battle with 3 interceptions of their own and 3 fumbles, including one of which that was returned for the TD that put Nevada ahead for good.
