Erratum

In the post November 9, 1985, it was erroneously reported that Indiana State played in Division I-A in 1985. In fact, the Sycamores played in Division I-A from 1978 when Division I split into -A and -AA until 1981, when they dropped to I-AA. The author and Ball State regret this error.

Therefore, since Ball State lost 23-9 to Central Michigan on November 16, 1985, they end the 1985 season wearing Shame Mask II.
