SMII: Ball State squeaks out a 29-27 win at Indiana State, which was Div. I-A at the time to mark the first time the Shame Mask has been worn by a school not in the Mid-American Conference since the Northwestern teams that started it all.

SMIV: Northern Illinois beats Eastern Michigan 3-0, marking the fifth time that Eastern Michigan has worn a Shame Mask.
