A momentous day in Shame Mask history! Toledo wearing Shame Mask III travel to Eastern Michigan who wears the Original Shame Mask. On this fall afternoon, Eastern Michigan had the edge, winning 21-10 and ending their fourth Shame Mask sentence. Toledo trades Shame Mask III for the Original, and so SMIII goes back into storage, maybe in a closet at Northwestern.

SMII: Western Michigan continues their losing ways, dropping their first home game of the season 48-7 to Bowling Green.
