Penn State 59, OSM{Florida International} 0

Basically the only good things for Florida International on Saturday were that the players got a trip from Miami to central Pennsylvania and Duke also lost, which means that the Blue Devils' 21-game losing streak still dwarfs the Golden Panthers' 13-game losing streak.

It was the first game as a head coach for FIU's Mario Cristobal, who at age 36 was born during Joe Paterno's sixth season as the head coach at Penn State.

FIU converted only one of their fifteen third downs. They lost five fumbles. They rushed the ball 31 times for minus-3 yards. They completed 12 of 26 passes for 117 yards. They gave up 313 yards and 3 TDs passing and 236 yards and 5 TDs rushing.

Next up for Florida International, the University of Maryland comes to Miami.
