Arkansas State 27, OSM{Florida International} 24

Argh!

After 20 straight losses, Florida International trailed 3-0 at the end of the first quarter, but rallied with a safety and an 80-yard punt return for a touchdown and took a 9-3 lead into halftime. After exchanging third quarter touchdowns, Arkansas State scored two quick touchdowns in the final five minutes to take a 24-16 lead. But the Golden Panthers were not about to take this lying down, and they scrambled for an eight-play, 65-yard touchdown drive that together with the successful two-point conversion tied the game with only 29 seconds left in regulation. This is the absolute worst time, however, to surrender a 60-yard kickoff return. This put Arkansas State in position to kick a game-winning 31-yard field goal with 0:02 left on the clock. Sorry, FIU.

But, the Golden Panther have their final three games of the season at home, and two of them are against Louisiana-Lafayette and North Texas, which have only one win each on the season.
